Don't have the answer. I would love to see instruction and the finished project.

Well, you can do like a quilter and get out the graph paper.

How much room do you want the frame to take up?

Figure out the height you want it to be, then the length and width. You will use kinda a double elbow at each corner: to join the PVC piper from 3 different directions, such as width, height, & length, each at 90 degrees from the other. Once you get it where you want it you can decide if you want to use the glue and make it permanent or if just having it together is enough. Though you may want the bottom of the front leg to only go 2 ways, from the end of the leg in front to the crossPVC pipe to the other leg in the back .... joining only the legs at the width in the front, so your legs and feet can comfortably be under the frame.

That is for the basic frame. Then you buy the part you will clip onto the 2 lengths to stabilize your quilt, one long piece cut in half.

A DIY store like Lowe's, Home Depot, or such will help you.

My church had theirs made this way but only the the top was glued. The rest came apart for storage. This way the ladies weren't so confused when it came to putting it up each week.

I did attach a sketch of what I mean. Hope it helps.

My husband has been looking online to find one to make me. Go to www.ehow.com. The article you want is "How to make a Home Quilting Frame". The picture attached to the articled is the same picture that's on JoAnn Fabrics website. We talked about the price. Check out the cost of the supplies to build. It might be cheaper to buy the one at JoAnn's when you have a 40% coupon.
