I am so sorry for your friend's loss, and for the entire community as a whole. He will be missed in so many ways and by so many friends and neighbors and family. I think blue hearts would be a comfort but also after a few months I would ask for his tshirts or clothing N make a quilt, I've done a few for friends and they love and appreciate them..
