Towpath!!!! I used to belong when I lived in Syracuse.
Good memories, Nita!! Sorry that I have no ideas though :) |
We play Quilto with Hershey's Kisses. No one gets tired of that. Especially if there's a big variety. I go for the dark chocolate ones. You could play LCR with fabric strips. It's a dice game where there's a pot in the middle and passing left to right. Anyone can join in at any time and there isn't a set number to play each round. The dice are not expensive.

several years ago we did a game where a story was read that was a Christmas story and it was like a Left/Right game and we each brought a wrapped notion/FQ/etc $5 or less--was really fun.

Last year my quilt guild played a game with quilting acronyms. The acronyms were listed on a piece of paper and we filled out what they meant. The one who got the most won.
This month we played quilting bingo. All of the squares had quilting terms. It was fun! |
I would love to use LaurMac's Family Fued game, at our December party. What are the rest of the questions and the answers, please?

On Pinterest, there's a gift exchange using one large die. 1-6 has predetermined actions (pass gift to person on left, etc.)
Could be done whole small group, or at each table in large group. |
Your guild is lucky to be able to have a good party! My guild is having a fundraiser auction for our Christmas Party. Kinda tacky I think to pay to come to a party to celebrate our membership especially when our bank balance is very healthy and can cover our budget for several years with no fundraising at all. We have had several fundraisers during the year why can't Christmas just be a fun time? Even the times I was in charge of the Christmas program I was overruled when it came to stopping the fundraising.
