quilt label markers?
hi all I have made it my goal to put labels on all my quilts this winter! what are your tried and true markers that you have used and love?? thanks

I have used fine point sharpies. I iron a piece of muslin onto freezer paper, then write what I want with a frixion pen (just in case I want to change something, a hot iron will erase it), then I go over the letters with a sharpie.

Micron Pigma pens. For fancy labels I hand embroider (I only have plain block letter embroidery capability on my machine)

Have used Micron Pigma pens, but usually do them on my embroidery machine.
|
I use the Micron Pigma Pens also.

Pigma pens, and lately I've been writing the info directly onto the quilt as inconspicuously as possible. But if I were making a "show quilt" I wouldn't mark up my quilt like that.
|
I go look at the pens in the scrapbook department. If it's archival for good papers it's archival for fabric too. They come in a good variety of colors and tip styles.
