Quilt magazine subscriptions???

There are quite a few quilt magazines out there. I get "Love of Quilting" delivered and I like it quite a bit. Especially the antique quilt section.

I want to order 1 or 2 more subscriptions. Which magazines are geared more towards intermediate or advance quilters?

I like American Patchwork & Quilting, not into fast or quick quilts, my fun is the challenges.

I subscribe to Quiltmaker, Quilt, Fons and Porter, Quilt world and American Patchwork and Quilting. Love them all.

The only subscription I'm keeping is Machine Quilting Unlimited.

I have reduced the number of magazines I subscribe to, but still have a lot. My fave is Am. Patchwork and Quilting. Then it's McCall's Quilting, McCall's Quick Quilts, Quilters' World, Quilt, Quiltmaker, and Australian Homespun. I love to go back and look at them to remember what was in them. Sometimes my taste will change. That's why I didn't renew Quilters' Newsletter and Fons and Porter.

I love McCall's Quilting (my fave), American Patchwork (BH&G), Fon's & Porter, Quilt, Quiltmaker. The others seem to gear towards the artsy quilter which I'm not. I like the more traditional look. Only my opinion.

I subscribe to Quick Quilts and The Quilter. I'm thinking about not renewing and just buying the books that are mentioned on this website.

Do you belong to a quilt guild? I know at our meetings, someone usually brings in magazines. Sometimes it's 2 or 3 and sometimes it's bags full. We can take what we want and the rest go in the "library". This is a lot cheaper than subscriptions. That just means more money for fabric!

I like Quilters World, and Quilting Arts.

I used to subscribe to Quilters World, but have since dropped it. I occasionally check the magazine stands and look at the magazines and buy one, it will have either a cover quilt or an idea inside that I might like to do. I find it kind of cheaper in the long run, I get what I want that way and a variety as well.

I don't subscribe to any, because the subscription is way to costly to send to Canada--like add $20 to canadian mailing addresses and then they are usually on the store shelf bedfore my copy comes in the mail. Our stores ( grocery, drugstore, bookstore ) carry almost all the titles. I used to buy most at Walmart because they gave 10 % off, but have discontinued that , so now I will buy at the local bookstore.
