jI have stopped all quilt magazine subscriptions. There are plenty of great patterns on line and I don't need the magazines piling up at my house. I used to take nearly all of them and gave away about 50 years of some of them when we downsized.

that is one reason I quit all magazine subscriptions I had a 2 year subscription to 2 of them that I really liked they went out of business and I never did get a refund and in this day and age and postage going up again I expect several more to go so if I see one on the stand that has an interesting pattern in it I buy it then but that is getting harder as more of them are wrapped in plastic and I will not buy what I cannot see but I do have plenty of patterns and lots on the internet

I remember reading that at least one quilt magazine was not going to print copies any longer -- just digital copies on line.

This means I won't be reading it anymore as it hurts my eyes to try to read online for long.

Call me old fashioned .. But I like to sit down and read a real paper book, or magazine. Don't get me wrong I have an Ipad and have downloaded many books on there, but its not the same ..

I was told by a fellow quilter who has taken that magazine for many years it will no longer be published. She said her renewal check was returned.

If they have gone to online only format, I'm very, very disappointed. I realize the cost of printing a magazine is a lot, however, I also like to have a copy of the magazine in my hand to read and look through. My husband has the same problem with some of his PC magazines and he's not happy either. Why did they have to mess with a good thing - they didn't ask me my opinion.

Perhaps it just me, but I really like holding a colorful magazine and flipping through the pages for inspiration. Then if I find something I'd like to make I've got everything I need (except the fabric of course).

I've been getting this magazine for years. I also didn't know they are going to quit publishing it. Not only do I like to hold the magazine and look through it several times, but I like the advertisers too. What a shame.
