quilt pattern for embroidered quilt blocks
I have lots of beautiful embroidery designs, and lots of muslin. I am looking to embroider in the middle of quilt blocks but was wondering what patterns other than a snowball and square in a square that would lend themselves to this type of construction. If some have done this can you post pictures so I can get some ideas

I found a bunch of blocks on pinterest but I would still like to see those that have done this.

I have used Mod Pod by Carolina Patchworks twice. Downloaded it from fatquartershop.com. The squares were perfect for 4x4 designs. I cut strips WOF then with a water soluble pen marked off the squares. I hooped the strip and just kept moving it along til full. I marked the squares a little larger than necessary in case something got off center then squared them up.

I've put embroidered squares in the center of ninepatch, churn dash, album, attic windows, just check "Quilt blocks galore" and you can choose from lots there, that's what I do or just make up my own....

I really just make something up when I set the embroidery blocks. I love to use them and have made tons of them to gift or for charity. Here are a few that I liked and were very easy.

Thanks so much M. Elizabeth. But, only the western one was machine embroidery. Recently I have bought tons of machine embroidery block sets on e bay by joanne puzzle. She really does a nice job on them. I just have to get them set and quilted.
