Does anyone have a good quilt pattern to use with embroidered 4 X 4 squares. I don't like to just use squares with sashing. I want to incorporate the embroidered squares into a quilt design.

I was thinking about the center of the Ohio Star. As you can see in my avatar I have used the nine patch but wanted something different.

this is a very nice idea for those squares. i used pictures, not emb sqrs, as the center of a friendship star with a ribbon border.

I found the Hugs and Kisses pattern. I love it and am making it now for my granddaughter. Thanks.
