quilt patterns using feed sacks
6 Attachment(s)
I have been making dresden plates out of some old feedsack fabrics. I would like to make something different. What would be another good pattern to make using these old fabrics? Apple core? pinwheel? Any suggestions? Here are a few of them that I have.

any old pced design would be fine, even a fourpatch or dble wedding ring. I guess it all depends on how much of ths lovely fabric you have, you could bing old quilts, or antiques and see if any of those tickle your fancy. beautiful feedsacks, where did you get them/?? even something as popular and modern as the twister pattern would be nice. please show us what you do.

Ditto what lynnie said!

I think churndash is the perfect block!

My choice would be for Sunbonnet Sue blocks

I'd do something with good-sized blocks to show off this beautiful fabric!

Just search on 1930's quilt patterns. Lots of pictures

Any "traditional" quilt block would work well...churndashes as someone said would be a great block!
