I'll be interested to read the responses to this as I'm wondering whether to update from version 4. I never did all that well with it, but I've now met someone who uses Quiltpro to design quilts and is very positive about it. She's going to give me a demo next week.

I have quilt pro because it's the only program you can get for Mac's. I do like it a lot, and they also send you a free block daily that you can download into the program. It is very useful to me.

Did you make your avatar from Quilt Pro?

The instructions came out of the book 'Fons & Porter complete quilters guide' it's a great book, got it used on Amazon for about $10.00. They also had it at my library. Here is a post for making a similar one, the difference is that mine was made with all 2 1/2 squares and this one used different sizes. http://bronzewombat.blogspot.com/200...patchwork.html
