This is what I came up with for a quilt record sheet. I kept it all on one page so it could be put in a binder as the first page of whatever else I might add about the quilt like fabric invoices. I used an HP template that I found online at MS Office.

This is in a Word 97/2003 compatible file. I also have it in Word 2007.

Any suggestions to improve the document would be welcome.

How about photos on the back? Of little fabric swatches. Wow, it looks great and would be such a keeper in years to come. Thanx for sharing.

The bird photo can be replaced with a photo of the quilt, or whatever. Fabric swatches could be pinned on the bottom section.

I keep telling myself I'm going to do this for each quilt I make, but still haven't. Maybe this will help, Thanks

Great idea! I have taken photos of all my quilts and have those on my computer. Instead of the design in the upper right corner of your template, I just inserted a photo of the quilt so now everything is on the one page. Thanks!

GMTA! I was thinking I would put swatches on bottom. I label all my fabrics, and pin a little piece of selvedge edge to the label, while fabric is in the washing machine. Sure makes it easy to put the correct label back on. Labels keep me from re-measuring etc. :D
