I'm finally getting around to putting together my Quilt Record Binder and have to go back and document the projects I've already done. I thought you might be interested in seeing the finished layout I came up with. I'll try to attach it.

There's a textbox to the right to add a picture. For some reason its not showing when I downloaded the file.

I really like your idea for a Record Document.
Thank you for sharing with all of us, on the

I think $195 was way too little to charge for this quilt - but I guess you were thinking of it partially a gift? Watch out for others who see her quilt and ask you to make quilts for them and expect the same pricing!

Thanks for sharing your quilt document, I can barely get a picture of mine to put in a binder.LOL I totally agree with JoanneS, probably more people will be coming to you for a quilt with that same price in mind. Don't do it, your work is worth more.

That was the price I told her in the beginning but I've definitely upped my prices!

JoanneS 09-15-2009 08:02 AM

Good to hear! I definitely don't like to read about quilter's short selling themselves - er = their quilts!

The conflict comes when deciding to charge high and not sell or charge lower and sell. Especially depending on the area.
