Quilt & Sewing Machine shops in Atlanta?
I'm going to be spending a week in Atlanta with a rental car and a credit card  the last week of March. My DH will be on a business trip and it's Spring Break for me, so I'm going along. I expect it will be warmer than Wisconsin! Can anyone fill me in on the must see/visit shops for quilt fabric and sewing machines within 50 miles or so of downtown? I'm actually more interested in sewing machines, but fabric will be easier to take home on the plane. :D

Don't miss A Scarlet Thread. They are a machine and fabric shop. It is off I-75, exit 221 (easy to remember, right). Go east a mile or two and they are on the right on the corner of a large shopping center. Enjoy!

Tiny Stitches is one of the best shops. Don't forget to check out the longarm quilting room where the 40% off fabric is sold.

I have been to A Scarlet Thread. Great service and super nice ladies that work there.

Thank you all so much! The members of this board are the best!
I have a feeling my credit card is going to be smoking. I'd better start saving up. :) |
