Quilt Shops in/around Anahiem, Dana Pt California
 

I'm heading to California on Wed to see my son for a week. But, he will be working on both Thursday and Friday, so I will have to find ways to entertain myself on those days. Besides spending an hour or so each day in the hotel gym I figure that browsing through quilt shops would be the most fun. I will have a car, and a GPS. Can anyone recommend any quilt shops in that area?

I know if I was that close I would make the trip. I have gone shopping in their Paducah store a while back when DH took me to the quilt show there.

Looking at google maps most of the trip would be on Interstate 5. A good ocean view most of the way!

It's not a quilt shop but if you are looking for fabric there is a discount fabric store called M & L Fabrics in Anaheim. The address is 3430 W Ball Rd Anaheim, CA 92804. It's in an old supermarket building so it's huge and fabric prices are great.

Oh, you gotta go to M&L Fabrics.

And there is a quilt shop nearby in Cypress, called Tranquility Quilts, 10191 Valley View St. It's less than a 10 minute drive from M&L Fabrics.

There is also the Quilt Cupboard in Garden Grove, 11891 Valley View St. And Bear Quilt Shop in Garden Grove, 10722 Trask Ave, Ste A.

In Anaheim there is the Quilters 428 North Lakeview Ave.
