quilt shops around Harper's Ferry or Antietam??

DH and I leave very early tomorrow am to travel (by train) to D.C. area. We do plan to rent a car one day to travel to Antietam battlefield and probably Harper's Ferry too. Is there any good quilt shops in either of those areas? I've thought about trying to visit Jinny Beyer's studio, but since she does so much by hand, not sure it's worth it for me. We'll be staying in Arlington. Thanks!

You are very close to Jinny Beyer's and her shop is very nice. Try not to miss it.

Wilson's in Hagerstown run by Mennonites might be what you want but there are several quilts shops around Western Maryland. Any quilt store works for me!

Not sure , but just a reminder to check ahead to see if they're open on Mondays. Many aren't. But that area has several that are on an annual shop hop bus tour, so I'm sure you'll find something .

Wilson's in Hagerstown is absolutely wonderful--the owners are the nicest people ever. They are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. Definitely worth the time to visit them.
