Quilt Shops in Denver CO area
 

Good Morning,
I will be in Denver on Saturday to pick up my machines. Does anyone from Colorado have a favorite quilt shop in the area?

Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum at 200 Violet St. is an interesting place to visit and when I was there a few years ago they had a small one room fabric shop. I think their focus display now is small pieced quilts. They usually have more than a single focus to view. Google it to check location, hours and what to see. Not living in Denver, I don't know of other shops to visit. Enjoy!

well The Quilt Store is in Broomfield. I used to live there. Broomfield is just off Hwy 287 and near Boulder.

I know a shop in Colorado City which I think is about a 2 hr drive from Denver. The name of the shop is Kelly J's. It was a cute little shop when it was located in northern Minnesota. She moved out to the west. If you are in that area, it is worth a look although I haven't been out to see it. She provided a lot of classes when it was located here and also serviced machines. She moved because she "got an offer she couldn't refuse as someone wanted the land she had. Also worked with horses and corgis.

It is an excellent shop. Large selection, good service, more than just quilting cottons. You'll love it.

Where are you getting your machines? I don't quilt. So not really a whole lot of help, but I do live in south Denver. The only one I'm somewhat familiar with is Wooden Spools, but have only been in there a couple of times in the last 10 years.

Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum, from my understanding, charges to see the exhibits. It looks like maybe they sell fabric at least online. It is located in Golden which is west of Denver.

I googled quilt shops in Denver. There is one in Brighton (open 9-1 on Saturday) which looks just a short way off I-76 called On Pins and Needles. https://www.onpinsandneedles.com/

https://www.kellyjssewingcenter.com/ is way south of Denver. So it would double the distance from Ovid to Denver.

I'm picking up my machines from Rocky Mountain & Sewing in Arvada. Normally I take them to the Aurora store but Arvada called me about a Janome machine I was interested in.
