Quilt shops near Nags Head, NC?

We'll be visiting Nags Head, NC soon, :D so I was wondering if any of you can recommend quilt shops there or nearby, or any other interesting "quilty" places for me? Thanks in advance...

I was there last summer and did not find any. I hope someone answers your request because I will be there this summer and would love to visit a quilt shop on the outer banks.

I was curious as we are trying to decide where to vacation in 2012 and Nags Head was one of our options.

I looked at it again and HOW in the world does Google think H&R Block and K-Mart are quilt stores? If you ignore that there are still a few that might be fun to visit!

Thanks, Carrie! The first two places on that list are actually the same location and phone number. Then there's the Quilts and Antiques place. It's a start. I think I'll try to research places to stop along the way. I remember once visiting in Columbia, SC and stopping at a great place somewhere north of there (can't remember where now) called Mary Jo's. It may not have even been in SC---just don't remember. Gonna have to google that one. It was well worth a stop, if you'll be in the vicinity. It was a big place with alot of very reasonably priced fabrics.

Mary Jo's is located in Charlotte, NC, and you're right...it's great! There are a couple of shops in the Jacksonville, NC area, but I don't know where that is opposed to Nag's Head...

Just saw a "new to me" quilt shop advertised on Macon Street in Warrenton, NC - "Quilt Lizzy". Warrenton is in the vicinity of Roanoke Rapids, NC, which is west of Nags Head.

Definately MaryJo's if you are driving through the western piedmont. I'm not allowed to go there unchaperoned!

You may not want to come to Quilt Lizzy unchaperoned either!!
