Quilt Show Entry Question....

If I post a top and say..."How would you quilt this?" and then enter it in a show, is that considered an original entry? Or does that then become a group entry, because you had input from others?

Things I wonder about....

"Group" is probably defined somewhere, but typically it means actual hands-on involvement and not just discussion -- even if someone gives you the perfect idea, you are the one that did it.

Advice is free, working on it is a group. Or at least that's the way I see it. If you feel like crediting someone, do.

Generally, Watson, I would go with Toverly's take ...
... advice is free, working on it is a group.
With a post asking suggestions, no one else has touched it.
Let alone even seen it IRL!

That being said, some of the shows have the freakiest of rules.
Just read them through. And if necessary, check in directly with them.

For sure...some shows state if it has been shared on social media it can not be entered into a show.... great advice to check the rules
