I check their site but I don’t really like to spend my time watching quilting, when I could be quilting.

Dunster, that's what I was thinking. Oh, look at those BoM! So pretty. But I don't like doing a lot of applique. So that takes care of that. Quilting videos and helps either on this forum or free online. Items in their store either too expensive for me, already have something similar, or not interested. I do like the puzzles, however.
There, decision made. No membership. Now I'm free to think about something else AFTER I have a piece of chocolate. I know I have some in this sewing room, someplace.

I did join for a while, but since I don't do a lot of traditional piecing, I lost interest. I prefer videos and YouTube that have more of what I'm interested in

There are so many youtube videos available for free that I decline to pay for any. Alex I'm sure is a great teacher but watching her free videos on youtube drives me nuts because she rambles and gets distracted.

I have had a Basic (free) membership since 2007 and started watching the FB live shows on M-W-F..... Recently I purchased a one year membership and have been binge watching while hand quilting. It has been very enjoyable ...classes on Art quilts, dying fabrics, machine quilting.... a wide variety. The reduced one year fee is $39 US so no more than a nice dinner for two out at a restaurant....and we aren't dining out...so Yay! I get hours and hours of enjoyment.

It is a great go to place. And it's always available to watch. You can go back to the beginning. The lessons are detailed enough to "get it". Going to renew mine as soon as I finish reading the quilting board.

Off topic a bit. Several of you have mentioned the daily puzzle. I was interested so I checked it out. I love jigsaw puzzle so tired one. Oh gosh... It was very sluggish for me. More frustrating than fun. 😵I guess it could be my Kindle but... If anyone likes jigsaw puzzle and wants to try a really good app, look for Jigsaw Puzzles Epic by Kristanix. I've tried many different jigsaw puzzle apps and it is the best! I do some every morning. They don't have quilts but they do have very pretty photos of many different things. 😁

I bought the recent special priced deal a couple months ago and have only watched a couple of shows. While I don’t particularly care for the style of the hosts, I do enjoy the guests they have on and as someone else mentioned, I always pick up another tidbit of info. I’m not sure I’ll renew, so I’d better get watching before my membership expires!!

I bought a 6-month subscription that recently ran out and I immediately bought it again because I hadn't watched all the shows yet. I used to put on Craftsy when I sewed but then Craftsy changed plus I had already watched all the shows I wanted to watch on there so now I put on the Quilt Show. I have learned oodles from watching the show plus have found some great supplies from watching. I've sewed my whole life but have only been quilting about 7 or 8 years so I still have lots to learn. My most recent purchase was the Ideal Seam Guide, what a game-changer. Kept all my seams exactly 1/4". First time ever did everything match with no effort and it was because all my seams were perfect. Not sure of Alex's skills as a quilter but she is one darn awesome host. Here is a picture of my first perfectly seamed quilt. My daughter's best friend just had her first baby and my daughter designed the fabric, and we printed at Spoonflower and I made the quilt. Sorry lighting not the best but if you zoom you can see perfect points. :)
