I love your quilting. You have inspired me to try something similar. Not even close to your great stitching but to try the idea of a whole cloth quilt and have lots of stitches in it. If I ever get done I will try to post.

I've only recently gotten back into quilting and the last big quilt show I attended was 14 years ago. Lots and lots of handquilted quilts then, and separate categories for hand and machine quilting. I love hand quilting, and prefer the look of it, I only quilt by hand. It makes me sad to hear that hand quilting seems to be fading out of the public arena...

I'm with the other poster who mentioned your quilting inspired them, I recently made a wholecloth mini because I liked how your full scale ones look. Eventually I want to try a full size one too. The few local shows I have been to seem to be machine quilted.

I know there are still many hand quilters out there - and I really hope many of them enter their quilts in shows, also the big ones! Maybe there are not enough handmade quilts to open a seperate category, but they are worth to be shown to a large audience.
