Hi Dot, I just received a lovely card from a board member. I can't find her user name in search to send her a thank you. Her card came from www.amybradleydesigns.com . It has a copywrite date of 2007, so I don't know if it is still in business.
I never seem to find the unique and unusual. This is a charming card with a lady purchasing fabric. Really cute! Hope you find something you like.
Blessings,
Ruth
you might want to check w/ Connecting Threads ... they used to have some note cards
LQS sometimes will have stationary and cards too :D:D:D
If you go on ebay, and do a search on Carol Wilson Stationery, I think you will find some very nice designs to choose from. (This is nothing to do with anything I sell. I do not sell anything on ebay!)You might be able to find her stationery elsewhere as well.
carolwilsonfinearts.com
It has a tea pot quilt, lone star, fan quilt, and many others.
I just checked the Amy Bradley website and it is still up and running. HTH!
Strange that you should bring this up! I was just thinking this might be something I would like to do...create "quilty" notecards.
I found Gees Bend note cards at American Folk Art Museum & 2011 Calendar. Looks great
Try here. I didn't check the whole site, but did see some note cards on this page: http://blockpartystudios.com/shoppin...15_dollars.asp
You can go onto a site called....victorianaquiltdesigns.com
The lady who has the site is Benitia Skinner.
I've gotten several note card patterns from her site for $5 each but I'm a paid member......but it's a neat site....
I may have spelled her first name wrong.
She's been living in BC Canada but moving to Nova Scotia I believe.
Anyway try her site you may like it.
Lots of freebee's on there also.......
I just got some from Connecting Threads, and they were on sale.
thanks! going right to their site
Dotty in NYC -
are you a member of Empire Quilters?
The cards, BTW, are ones you see for sale in quilt shops. Really nice.
Thanks, I'm joining in September.
It's a great way to spend a Saturday. You'll love it.
Here is a site too...........calla/Sue
