Quilt It Today

I remember the discussion several weeks ago about this magazine. Yesterday I went to JoAnn's with a couple friends and we found the September/October 2014 issue of Quilt It Today but haven't gotten it in my mailbox yet.

I haven't heard of it. When you get it let us know how you like it ok?

I have looked at a couple of issues on eBay. I always seem to be the last to get my Quick Quilts from McCall's.

I have a subscription to the magazine but haven't received it lately. The discussion was that the company had declared bankruptcy and people lost their jobs. I do like the magazine and hope they come back at least long enough for everyone to finish their subscription.

I thought the name was simply Quilt It?

I subscribed in April, 2014 to Quilt It Today and have never gotten a magazine. I have called many times and cannot talk to a person, left messages with no results.

Maybe its one of those that went out of business (?)

I think a lot f us subscribed to the magazine and have not gotten a magazine. I also have called the number, sent e-mails and have had no response. I think that they have gone out of business.

I was so sorry to hear that they have gone out of business. It was the least expensive quilting magazine out there and I had just subscribed so I wouldn't miss an issue. I wonder if there is something we can do to get some information on what to do.

Well that explains why it's companion, "Sew It Today", also stopped coming. A shame -- they both contained easy, quick projects at a reasonable cost. I'm tired of paying the ever-increasing prices for magazines all coming from the same source (ie. Fons and Porter's multiple publications) that all tend to look alike. These two new magazines were guilt-free purchases due to their low cost ($3.99), though not so much anymore since I also just renewed subscriptions for both. Will we ever get a break from the ever-rising costs of materials and tools for what used to be an inexpensive hobby?
