Do you fasten the comforter inside the duvet? I made a duvet and made the mistake of not lining it. I'm trying to decide if it's worth fixing. I did think I needed to fasten the comforter inside.

I sewed a length of ribbon in each inside corner and tied firmly to the corners of the duvet.

I never lined my duvets. The top of the quilted one was just the quilt top quilted to a layer of flannel. The bottom piece was a bit heavier weight cotton. I do use the duvet clips to fasten the comforter inside so it doesn't slip around and bunch up.
