I haven't seen that movie, but I think it's now on my list to watch. But this thread caught my attention because ask this old house was on last night and they were fixing a bathroom faucet and they were pulling it out of the box and all that, but they were showing how all the pieces went together in the person's bedroom. And the owner of the house had this beautiful log cabin quilt in light neutrals and pale blues and greens. So now I have yet another quilt on my list to do!

The plot of the movie you mention sound more like a Christmas movie I saw on the Hallmark Channel. The investor who has a chain of resorts, wants to tear the place down, and the daughter is onboard with that until she gets there and falls in love with the place as it is, maybe with a few changes to update it. The sellers have a son, and of course, they end up falling in love. Families return there year after year for Christmas. I don't remember any specific quilt in the movie, though.
