I volunteered at one quilt con show to hang the quilts. One thing that I noticed was the quilts were stiff with the close straight line quilting. Definitely not cozy or snuggly quilts.
Haven’t been but always love the pictures. hugs, charlotte |
Ibex - pretty sure this is a good example of what Ricky meant for our February assignment... but man that's really hard for me to do. Not technique-wise, just design wise!

A wonderful quilt show with my morning coffee! The creativity, the quilting, outstanding! Thank you ibex94.

Thanks for the link.
I don't think I'll ever understand the modern quilts, but I'll never understand the art of Salvador Dali either. I just look and enjoy the artistic compositions and wonder why my brain doesn't work the same way! |
Thanks @Quiltah Mama .
Someof those quilts I'd like to hang on my wall, some I'd like on my bed but that one you posted quiltah mama with 12,000 pieces just leaves me in speechless awe! There are some really amazingly talented people out there and on this forum. |
