Does anyone have a pattern for a 9 x 13 casserole cover that they wouldn't mind sharing. I was thinking this could be a great Christmas gift.

i don't have a pattern or a picture but at the Christmas party I went to at our local quilt shop yesterday, we had "show and tell" time, one lady brought a casserole cover or tote bag. i'll try to explain it. she bought 2 placemats, embroidered on front of one - like "From Ann's Kitchen with Love", then sewed the 2 placemats together leaving one short end open where she put a button and button hole. when she sewed the pieces together, she sewed fabric handles into each side, so you just slipped your casserole dish in the open end, buttoned it up and ready to go. hope this is not too hard to understand, too bad i didn't take a pic of it, but when i get around to making one, i'll post pic then.

Thanks for this. I will try it. As soon as I can get to Wally World for placemats.
