Has anyone ever made a quilted post card and sent it through the mail?
I am looking for a free downloadable pattern as well as wondering how the postage works.

I just went into Google and put "Fabric post cards" and it brought up several sites for patterns and directions. Have fun.

I made and send plenty of them. I use the regular postage. Don't forget to write POSTCARD on the top back of the card (just like the regular postcards). I usually just center it.

I've done a few. Greencat is right - you have to write POSTCARD on it. They are great fun to do. I like to think the post office enjoys them, too.

maryquilts.com has a great tutorial on postcards. I just looked at it this morning.
