Quilted Sewing Machine Cover
I would like to make a quilted sewing machine cover. My machine sits on the table and I would like to cover it when it is not in use to keep any dust off of it. If you have made it could you show a picture and how you did it. Thanks.

I have made more than one, it depends what type your looking for. I made some that I quilted the fabric and attached ties to each side. I also made some that I pieced, quilted and drop it over the machine. I’ll try to attach pictures but I haven’t had much success with this format. Just in case I’ll just say what I did. I measured from front to back, then from side to side and added a few inches so it would fit after being quilted. Both styles have front and back, so you make your sandwich like any other quilt.

I made one also and I found some video that could probably help you.(1) DIY How to Make a Quilted Sewing Machine Cover - YouTube

I have seen some fancy ones on QB. Mine I just took a square wall hanging, folded it in half and stitched part way down both ends. It fits over my machine and the unstitched ends extend over the bigger machine bottom. Fun and done!
