Have you ever watched the show Wife Swap???

I have been searching for some specific fabrics and posted in the Classifieds section. Thankfully, I was able to get a lot of my requests fulfilled and pretty fast! I ended up in a trade for some of it and purchase for others!
I was replying back for the trade and thought, you know we just all ought to post all of our fabrics and swap it....then...

I thought, no, fabric costs a lot to ship, we should just swap quilters for a few weeks, use each other's stashes, ignore the families....after all this is a retreat....(LOL) and then go back home! After all, it is cheaper to send a person and we can admire others quilting areas!!!

Just a thought!!!

I would be fun to play in someone elses playpen for awhile.

Who gets custody of which quilt projects completed?

I hope we can answer each other's phones too and take messages - or not. That would be a hoot!

Susan, I live in a warmer climate but i don't think you want to trade. I take care of my 12 yr old grandson and he keeps me hopping.

Well, I didn't think that far into it....let's see....my day job is a 24/7 caregiver for my MIL...who lives with us. Works ok, just absolutely NO privacy, NO time alone for even watching TV...and when I have to go to town for grocery shopping (or visiting one of our kids for lunch) she fusses at me for the next few days and has me do everything for her. She will get her a glass of water in the kitchen, then go sit down in the front room and ask me to get her a cookie or something! She is capable of taking care of herself for a few hours here and there, but she wants me to be with her every moment...
Oh yeah, and my DH daughter moved back in a few years ago (just for a few months, honest dad...) to finish college!
And, I live in MT where we just can't seem to shake winter!
But I have a large sewing room fully stocked/!!!

Any takers?????
