Quilter's "C" clamps, where to buy?

I thought I'd saved the website for these clamps but now can't seem to find it in my list of sites. Searched thru the "search" mode here and didn't find it and even went to one of my other yahoo digest groups thinking the website was found there and still no luck so I'll ask here as I know someone will have the answer I'm searching.

These "C" clamps are used mostly for free floating a quilt. You clamp your sandwich to the belly bar with them. True I could use the magnetic strips but after reading about the problems if they come together, I have little strength in my hands as it is and I've used the "C" clamps on my smaller system so know they work.

So if anyone knows the website where I can order them, I'd appreciate it? I did a search and found only one in Canada that sells them but I'm sure the site I'm thinking about was somewhere in the states.

Thanks again.

Someone on a Yahoo group posted these websites:

There are different types. Jamie Wallen's clamps are much wider:

Thank you, thank you, thank you. It was Jamie Wallen's website. DUH!!!!! The other clamps were what I used on my smaller systsem but Jamie's look more sturdy. Now would 6 be enough for say a 108" wide quilt or would I need more as his video and description does not give any clues?

Thanks so much for his website. I knew if I went to you folks, someone would have the answer. YIPEE!!!!

Glad you were able to get this information. The members of this board are absolutely amazing. They always seem to come through.

Erica's Craft and Sewing Center - an online store for all things sewing. Got my "C" clamps there.

I use them but mainly just to keep my belly bar leaders from flapping. When I float a quilt I place homemade rice bags between the quilt top and the belly bar. This gives tension to the top from the bottom portion of the quilt.
