Is anyone here a member of Quilters Club of America and, if so, is it worth the fee? Just curious. I get so much great information and help here I just don't that I need to spend money that I would rather use for fabric!! Thanks.

it seemed a waste of money to me

I joined and Iam sorry I did have not been able to use any of the tutorial information on their site. I find out more information here. I am not planning on renewing with them.

I have been a member for 2 years and after this year will not renew. I get much more and better information from this wonderful board. Also have trouble with the videos and other things on their site.
|
I think this website is Wonderful, AND its free!
|
I have belonged for two years but never use their tutorials. I enjoy the magazine but a bit pricey for what I am getting. I won't renew.
|
I am so thankful for this board. I am encouraged to hear your thoughts and comments and am glad I'm on the same track with you. I think I'll keep my money and spend more time on this board. Thanks so much for your input.

Same here, thought it was too much, and I have found much more info here from all these wonderful quilters.
|
The only real benefit I found was the 10% discount at JoAnn's but since I have vowed to NOT buy so much fabric, I rarely even use that. Just renewed but won't do so again. In fact, I just realized I DIDN'T get my new discount card!!! I better contact them as the old one expires the end of this month.
This board is the best thing EVER! |
I think just paying the fee for the Quilters TV site is the better deal.
|
I joined and enjoy the site. However, their video screens are too small. They can be enlarged but then they tend to get fuzzy. The other thing I don't like is that they have a lot of videos on demand but a lot of it is recycled shows from regular TV (old) and others--well once you've viewed them, you're done.
I do like that you get membership in QNNTv and Fons & Porter from that site and so there are other goodies as well. |
I joined for the Joann Fabric 10%. For me it has been worth it.
|
I joined the first year and didn't renew. I like others said gained more info and knowledge right here :D:D:D
Also, with all of the free tutorials on the net I see no reason to pay them the high fee for their's  |
I joined several years ago-it's worth it for me for the Joann 10% discount. Also, QNN.TV is free when you're a member. So for me it's been worth it.

I belonged for two years and did not renew this year. I can find better ways to spend my money.

I joined when it first started. It was a bust for me. The free patterns were the free ones from the fabric manufactures. The Dashboard on the website was never updated. I continue to pay for Quilter's TV website but not Quilter's Club. The free gifts were a demo cd which I could get free from Inklingo from their website, a cd of quilting tips right from the magazine, and I did get six issues of Easy Quilts during the year.

thank you so much for the pattern. Hugs.
