Quilters Cottage - is it still in Garden City, SC?
 

Seems like when I went last year, it was not where I thought it was - did it move, has it closed, or did I go to the wrong place? Love that shop!!!

This was on their facebook page: It is with great sadness that I must tell everyone that Quilters Cottage will close its doors Sept. 30, 2014. Our landlord will be taking over the whole building for his business.

This was on yelp, but could be old: Quilters Cottage 2571 US-17 BUS, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 Phone:(843) 651-4004 Maybe they moved. It says they are closed today. ??

Lots of shops are still closing. Rents are going up and many of them are at the retirement age.

The company they leased the building from wanted to move in the building for their own business. Sadly - they closed up and did not move to another location. I go to the quilt show at Ocean Lakes in Feb. and they have been there but I don't know if they go to any other shows as venders. Pat still does long arm quilting but at their home (I think).

I really miss them as they were always so friendly and helpful.

Quilters Cottage closed permanently I was so sorry to see it close. Pat who owned the shop works on Thursdays at Accent Sewing in Murrells Inlet, SC they also have a lot of fine fabric.
