They definitely make/sell by the roll. Can't buy it direct however - you have to find a retailer who sells it. My LQS ordered a roll for me a couple of months ago. I love it! I would just ask, wherever you buy your packaged batting.

I love the select and always buy king size in the package, also from Hancocks of Paducah.

When I was using this brand, here is where I bought it
http://www.storesonline.com/site/battmart. I cannot speak to comparison prices, because I could not find anyone else who carried it by the roll. |
QD 70/30 on the large roll queen size width is all we use at our church quilting group, and I have a personal roll (30 yards) at home that I use all the time. Great batting for machine quilting projects. The church is able to buy wholesale from a distributor like your LQS does. Otherwise, the best source I've seen online is the battmart site (link above).

My niece, a hand quilter, was a quilt tester for QD before it hit the market and she loved it. I use it and always get good results. I like the soft hand it produces.

I get all of my rolls of batting at Batting.com watch for sales, but their regular prices are good
