Is Quilters Dream still in business?
 

I went to the Quilters Dream website (http://www.quiltersdreambatting.com/) today, and it is completely broken. The home page comes up but *none* of the links/pages work. Everything is a 404 error. I have tried multiple browsers. I checked their Facebook page and they haven't posted since May 2020. Anyone know what's going on with them?

Yes, their home page comes up fine ... but none of the links work. I can't get to anything on the site. All I get is 404 errors. It's very strange.

That's possible ... or there's just some kind of glitch. I sent an email to the customer service address listed on their Facebook page, so hopefully will back from them.

In the meantime, I found the info I needed on their products here on Quilting Board, so that's all sorted!

Their Instagram page looks like it is much more active than their FB page. The most recent post was five days ago. Maybe the website is just down.

Oh, that makes sense. Lots of people have gone to Instagram ... just not me ... yet. :)

I just tried it. It is working now. May be try it again.

It only goes to the home page still.

It is possible that their website made extensive use of Flash, which has now been sunset by Adobe (as on 12/31/2020) and blocked by browsers.

Try Batting Super Sale. They have Quilters Dream, Hobbes & 1 other i think. No I don't know how to do a link.

I purchased Quilter's Dream from Modern Quilt Batting Company. Amazon has some, too.

Batting Super Sale has a sale on Quilters Dream Wool until 1/10.

Hi, LRS - No, the site is still not working for me. I've also cleared my cache, updated my browser ... Oh, well, I suppose it will sort itself out sometime. As long as they are still making batting, I'm good!

I buy bat from BattingSuperSales and on their website they have Quilters Dream--but they also have a caveat that it's taking about 2-3 weeks extra to receive most of their QD supplies as they are having a hard time obtaining long cotton supplies. So guess if you are trying to get either their cotton or cotton/poly blends there is a delay.

Wow, you guys are so quick with answers and ideas that I missed a bunch of posts! I did hear back from QD, and, yes, they had a website problem that their IT dept has apparently resolved, because I see now that the site is now working!

(I wonder if it was the Flash issue you mentioned, mkc. Seems quite plausible.)

Try clearing your cache and restart your browser and see if that helps!

I hope they are still in business as I ordered special batting for a snuggly baby quilt. I did order through Missouri Star since I could not find their site.

Yes, QD is still in business. They had a technical problem with the website for a while, but it's working properly now. http://www.quiltersdreambatting.com/

FYI, I don't think they sell directly to the public. I just bought QD batting from Hancock's of Paducah. :)
