Just found this thread.....I live in Ocklawaha, Fl.....just outside of The Villages...about 15 miles south of Ocala in Marion County...

I live in Ft. White which is the home of Itchneetuckee Springs.

I had a sister that lived in Longwood.

I live on the east coast of FLorida in Delray Beach, so I think you are abot 2- 2 1/2 hours from me. THere is someone who has become a very good friend (although we have never met) and she lives in Merritt Island.which I believe is closer to the Orlando area, or near the Space Shuttle area. There is anolter woman who also lives in Orlando, which I know is almost 190 miles from me. Would be nice if we could all meet somewhere for a nice retreat.
I am a full time resident, and wish that the snowbirds would find somewhere else to be, as our roads and stores are so overcrowded that it is frustrating.

Merritt Island is very close to the shuttle. There are many places that you can actually see the site from. I have a dear friend there who has a pastor son there also. I like it.

Hi I live full time in Leesburg Fl....from Pa.

I'm in Putnam county. About an hour south/west of St Augustine. Hoping to move to the Clearwater area soon.
