I'm still new to this site and I am a self taught quilter. I am very curious about the different initials that you use in your threads. I understand that MIL, FIL, and so on is an in-law. But, I'm truely confused about others.

It looks like what you see in a kaleidoscope. They are just beautiful.

A One Block Wonder is where you take 6 or 8 repeats of your fabric, layer them and cut them into triangles and sew them into hexagons or octagons, and then put them together for a quilt. If you do a search on this board, you will find some pictures of various OBW quilts that people have made. I love OBW, you never know what you are going to get with your fabric.

Well now knowing what that is, I can say that my second quilt design that I experimented with was a "Whack and Stack" kaliediscope. I also love the different look you get with each block. Thank you everyone for your "lessons", you've been a great help.
