Go to control panel classic view and click on Java. You will have settings and can clear out the Java cache. You may need to download the Java updates to the newest version.

Have you tried a different browser? If you are using Internet Explorer, try Firefox or Google Chrome. Sometimes it will work better in a different browser.

Be sure and restart (not reboot) your computer after downloading the new version. That really makes a difference when installing apps for browsers.
