In my quilt class the other day, a fellow quilter had a "quilter's wheel."
It's used for adding 1/4" seams to a template. You stick a pencil in the hole in the middle and just run the little wheel around your template. Does anyone know where you can buy them? It's a Dritz product. Searched Dritz, Clothilde, Keepsake and Connecting Threads. Thanks. |

I have one and I use it.

It's called the Quilter's Wonder Wheel and/or Quilter's Seam Allowance Disk.
Different sites have it listed differently. Because that's really helpful. I bought mine at Joann's. http://www.dritz.com/brands/showcase...p?ITEM_NUM=C94 The barcode is included so if you're calling the store before you go, they can check the store inventory. http://www.google.com/search?q=+quil...ab=wf&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&fp=c135215a99c960d6&biw=1280 &bih=670 This exact topic comes up every couple of weeks. I think next time I see them in the store, I'm just going to buy a bunch to have on hand when people go looking for it. ;-) |
I have one. A woman I took a class with bought it for me at Joann's. The cost was $1.00.

A big thanks to all of you who responded. This board is great! I'm off to JoAnn's today.

That is great! I have never seen one at my Joann's. I'll be on the look out for one.

When this was talked about recently on here, someone said they just use a washer!

I have has several but I lose one as soon as I use it! They are hard to keep up with.

Sounds good I may look for one especially if it's only $1.00 Sue
