I just got an offer for a free issue, plus a free year when I get a one year subscription. What are your thoughts on this quilting magazine? I'm a fairly confident beginner, so I want to be sure there will be things in the magazines that I will be able to do. Any insight you can give is always appreciated.

I have given up magazine too many GREAT ideas here to do all of them

Quilter's World is pretty good. Seems like about 9 or 10 patterns in every issue, ranging in all skill levels. I've never had a subscription, but bought it a handful of times from a news-stand and have liked what was there.

You can subscribe to Quilters World on line also. It isn't a lot cheaper but you don't have to find a place to keep the mag when you finish looking. You can print the patterns and you have access to the last years magazines

I like the magazine.

I get the digital subscription and I really like the magazine. Several projects and different skill levels.

I have liked the magazine. Usually nice patterns that are doable. I don't subscribe to it but had bought a lot of used Quilters World that I have enjoyed.

I bought a bunch of "old" magazines from someone on the board a few months ago - for a fraction of their original price. The fabrics out now are different, but the quilt patterns and tips never go out of style! And, silly me, I like to look at them and dream...kind of feels like the Sears "Wish Book" at Christmas made me feel as a kid.
