Looking for a pattern for HoneyBees other than what's on
Quilterscache. My grandaughter received a scholarship to SCAD's in Savannah, Georgia and I would like to surprise her with a quilt since she will be playing soccer and the name of their team is "The Bees". So far I found some material with bees, plus some black material and yellow to go with it. There colors are Black & Yellow. But am at a loss for a cute pattern. Would appreciate any help you can give. |

I might be able to draw you something if you let me know what you need and how big.

Couldn't open the above link, so looked & found this one.

Have you looked at some of the children's patterns for bees to applique, there are lots out there. Google 'bees' or 'bumble bees' and click on pics and see what comes up. You can also buy a coloring book that has a bees in it, too.

How nice of you to answer my request. The size would be
a twin size and I had thought about using the College's emplem that they use for their soccer team in the middle of it. Which is a round circle with an irrate bee in the middle. The College is "Savannah College of Art and Design". My problem is I don't know if I can do a circle and make it look good. I'm not very good at applique. |
