Quilting Board - the best site

I have to say that this forum is the tops. I love all the people that are willing to help with advice, tutorials and even the yummy recipes. I don't think there is another site around (probably is - I just haven't found it yet) where you can rely on getting at least a couple of replies to any cry for help.
I have been very much a lurker for quite a while, but have found the encouragement and advice given to other newbies has given me the confidence to start patchwork/quilting and to be brave enough to ask questions without fear of being scorned for asking "stupid" questions.
So to all you wonderful, experienced and beginner quilters I thank you for your encouragement and advice so freely given.

I agree! I've had endless help from people on here, have been part of some very interesting discussions and learn new things every time I come on. With no friend nearby to quilt with and no suitable guild in my area, the Board is invaluable.

I completely agree! I've been quilting for almost two years and have learned so much from the members on here....and for free!

I have quilted for more than 30 years and yet I learn something new and useful every week. Such a great group of wonderful people. Generous in spirit and kind with words.

You're right, this board is great. All kinds of wonderful advice and ideas on here.

QB is the best! Have gotten many ideas, lots of helpful hints, great advice and something to look forward to each day no matter what the day brings QB can be counted on for lots of smiles!

I have been sewing most of my life and quilting for about 30 yrs but I have learned a great deal about making things easier on this board. You will always find a kind word here so I totally agree with you.

Yes, the QB is how I start my day. I am fairly new to quilting and I have learned more here than in the classes i have taken. It is wonderful that it is world wide, a camaraderie of quilters willing to help each other - how wonderful is that.

I also find it absolutely fascinating at how "international" quilting is and how quilters seem to be so willing to help in all ways. I have even noticed many go out of their way to Google sites and find answers for other members.
Many other forums could take a leaf out of Quilting Board's members generosity and helpfulness. I also love it that there are no arguments or "put" down remarks, everything is just so positive.
My favourite forum site - can't ya tell. :-)

I agree! I am still a newbie, but I am totally in love with the board. I lurked a long time before joining, and I'm so glad I'm finally able to post.

I agree....I love this site. Now I can't remember what all the fuss was about when it changed.....I can hardly remember the old......

This is a wonderful site! I'm a newbie and I've learned so much just from reading what others are asking about. I look forward to opening this email every morning.

I love this board so much, when we were under tornado warnings and had 15 tornadoes in the area, I took my pillow AND MY COMPUTER WITH ME TO MY FRAIDY HOLE. so I could watch my quilting board.ha. My family laughed at me. Barny

There is so much going on here. I check in several times a day and there's always new postings.

I love this board! It is the best one anywhere! I have learned alot and still learning everyday!
