quilting frame

Is the Flynn quilting frame a good investment?

I would say no. I had one, added the long poles to do a big quilt, and felt that the frame was too unwieldy to handle. Also you need to be able to move the frame all the way in both directions, so it takes up a lot of space. (If the poles are 8' long, you need a room that's 16' long, and you can only do a quilt that's around 90".) I think the frame works fine for small quilts, but I didn't need a frame for small quilts. So my advice is to save your money. If you want to quilt large quilts on your DSM, try quilting in sections instead.

go to the top part of this page and type in Flynn quilting system or frame in the " search box" and you will get all of the threads that have been on the QB lately

for small projects not to bad, but the big quilts worked me to death keeping the frame on the table.
