I never knew how much quilting would enhance my life. Through quilting I have made so many friends across the country, from going to quilt shows and quilting retreats. I even had a quilter from Zimbabwey e-mailed me and we wrote back and forth for a long time. However times are so bad there I have not heard from her for awhile. It was so much fun learning about quilting in other countries.
I might not make oodles of quilts, but I have made oodles of friends. Marilu

I personally know very few quilters so I love this board.I love seeing other people works,rooms,etc.

OMG don't get me started,. I have met so many friends on this board , at retreats, sewing classes, and I too email with overseas ladies. Heather in Australia is my newest friend from this board. But almost daily I have contact with so many on this board. It's like a big family. Welcome to the QB. Lots of quitling friends on here too. Hope you contact your friend in Zimbawe soon. Hugs

Quilters are wonderful people. I have befriended many many quilters all over!!!

Friends are like making a quilt, we all come in difference shapes and sizes. But when you put the quilt together it becomes one, just like this board, making us one big family. Welcome, need any thing give us a shout out. Someone is away here to help.
