I watched this video today. The quilter is using a tool to grab the needle that is just what I need. Does anyone know what it is or where to find it?

Sorry, I have dialup so I can't watch youtube. So may not answer your question correctly. However, when I was hand quilting many years ago I would cut those long thin balloons off and slip them on my fingers to help me grab the needle.

I use an old tweezers, It has a handle like a scissors.You can get them anywhere they sell tweezers.

I use a little round of rubber, about the size of a silver dollar, cut from a larger round rubber jar opening device. Many businesses give them out as advertizment. You just fold it in half over the needle and it allows you to grip it tightly. I handquilt with a group of ladies at our senior center who are mostly in their late 80's or 90's. They use them all of the time.

Looks like it would really help with hand quilting.

I use a finger cot!

That's pretty cool for hand quilting.

I use my small scissors, not the cutting part, but the other side of the "hinge" - you can use it like a small pliers to grab the needle.
