Quilting ideas please
I'm making a snowball pattern quilt. I have a Brother machine. I'm open for suggestions for quilting it with straight lines. I've tried fmq and didn't do well with it, i don't think it's for me. What can i do with straight lines to give the quilting interest? Thanks!

I like wavy lines made with the walking foot. It is very easy; you simply pull slightly on the quilt right and left as you sew. Here is a link to Google images that show some of the possibilities:

Oh, I love the one in the upper left corner, thanks! I think I'm going to do wavy lines with a decorative stitch on my machine. :-) I'll try to figure out how to post pictures when I'm done. :-)

There's a snowball quilt in BH&G's current Christmas Quilts and More; they recommend cross hatch grid quilting. It really does look nice! If you click on this link and hoover over bottom left of picture, you can sort of see it. http://www.homespunhearth.com/detail...-SPQ-2016-CQAM
