Quilting ideas
 

I am currently piecing fabric for this pattern, so I don't have a picture yet:

The red, blue, yellow, and green middle fans of the star I am doing in black skull fabric, but won't be patchwork. The other patchwork for the star (the background points) will be purple and grey.

Although I'm still piecing, I am of course already thinking about quilting designs. I will be echo quilting the white areas. I need ideas for the colored areas in the star and the border. At this point, I'm not very good at FMQ so it would have to be something I can do with my walking foot. Thanks!

I did this quilting with my walking foot. It is on a small piece here for practice, but you could do it on a quilt. The yellow piece was just fabric with no batting. When I came up with the idea I did not have a piece of batting handy, so I just had to try it.
