Quilting on a Janome 6600

Is it possible to use a 6600 on a quilting frame, such as a Grace Frame. It was actually a Tin Lizzie machine on the frame and it's going to the hospital and thought that it might be possible to put the Janome on the frame. Any input?
Thanks.

We have a quilting group that gets together once a month; and there is a gal who uses her 6600 on a frame and has had great success with it.

It will work, but the throat is much smaller than a Tin Lizzie.

I just took a quilt off my Pennywinkle frame, that I used my 6600 to tack, didn't quilt cause it was a demin quilt a lady had put together, never sewed or quilted before, used 2" blocks, didn't want to have to put my quilting machine through the seams and this managed the quilt bulk and backing the machine did beautifully and would have had no problem quilting I am sure other than having to watch the bulk as I rolled it on the take up bar. I LOVE MY 6600!!!!

I hope I don't ever have to find out. I use a Gammill.

Good for you--but your comment does nothing to help the original poster.
