75 cents an inch here and I think that is quite reasonable! About $75.00 to do a queen but i have paid up to 125.00 for larger ones!

Unfortunately, it hurts many people when individuals undercharge for their products or services. Those prices are not even reasonable nor are they in line with what others charge for long arm quilting. Same for quilts. That is why when we consider selling a quilt there are people who will say, oh, so and so would only charge $100 for that, when WE know that it is that much in materials plus hours and hours of time in the quilt. Or my all time favorite comment on a baby quilt I made "I could get that for less at K-Mart!"

Bartering is great when you can find a match, but if you are going to sell a product or service it is wise to see what others charge.

Just my 2 cents .... since my machine is a Short (Mid) Arm type, I only do
Pantographs or freehand Meander/Stipple added here and there to enhance
the quilt top .... all done in rows, edge to edge across the tops. Usually
a baby/lap size is under $20, twin $35, full $50, and queen $65.... but
my area is more or less on the low end of an economical scale ... and
"business" has dropped so dramatically in past few years, my "work"
is mainly my own and for a few others.
I wish you luck in whatever price scale you decide to use!
