Which quilting pattern would you choose?

Last week I asked for suggestions on how to quilt this and received some wonderful suggestions. Thank you!
After more practicing this weekend and a need to get this done, I've decided to keep it simple on the first quilt. Which of these would you choose for the quilt - picture from EQ below - large blocks are not exactly as they appear in the image? Thanks a lot. |
I vote for #2 as it will look more like water with pools and edies. Quilt looks great.

I also like the 'water' quilting over the meandering.
|
I like the one which is on the left? The one that goes more horizontal like water?
|
I like the water with the pools and eddies over the meandering. BTW The quilt top is GORGEOUS!!!
|
I vote for the first one (looks like water) since lighthouses are near water.
|
In post 1 - I like the one to the right - more reminiscent of water than the meander pattern.
Cheers, K |
I think either would be great.

One more vote for the water although the meander would work too.

I vote for #2.

Love the water effect.

Water it will be - thanks so much for your replies! That's the one that I thought would be better with the beachy nature of the quilt. (And I think I'll be better at FMQing the more horizontal lines rather than all those loops.)
I didn't use the lighthouses when I made the quilt - the pic is from EQ - as they were oversized for the other beachy motifs I used - beach chairs, sea gulls and small scale lighthouses. I'll post a pic when it's done. Thanks again for taking the time to look. |
i vote #2

Quilt top picture shows up for me, but I can't get the other two pics to come up. All I get are red x's that won't show the pictures, even if I right click and then click on "show picture". Another new, exciting addition to our "new" quilting board, I guess. Humbug!

I vote for the water looking one. It goes the best with the beachy nature of the quilt.
