same here we have 3others that don't seem to get in the way quite as much :D . As to who's at fault???? :lol:

1. Taking the time to pin everything exactly as you want it to be, then when you sew it, it still moves.

2. Having to stop and remove the pins occasionally because they get stuck and the material won't move any farther.

3. Losing my scissors then finally find them just to find out that they are the "dull ones".

4. Sewing 1/4 of something together then realizing I sewed it on the wrong side. GRR!

5. When I'm almost finished sewing, not even 6 inches to finish, and my bobbin runs out.

LOL...


After all of this, then finishing your project and thinking, wow I did a really good job on that and feeling relieved to be finished. :D

And I was wrong about this one...I figured it would be the MIL looking over ur shoulder every stitch!!!!!!!!!!!!! :twisted:

My peeve is explaining to all my neighbors what I do all day,night and on weekends. They just don't understand.

My pet peeve would have to be sewing the binding on the quilt top and then when I stretch it out I see that I've sewn 1 block on the wrong side and it is right in the center of the quilt. That's when I decided to not sew after 6 in the evenings anymore.

My main pet peeve is that I go to my LQS, buy their "expensive" muslin and it's thinner than the Kona muslin from JoAnn's. I have bought other fabrics from quilt shops and it's thinner, ravels more, and doesn't feel as hefty as fabric from JoAnn's. So we pay more for less...we're paying for a name. WOW Phonixquilter, you must have some sorry lqs stores where you life. Our quilt shops only carry the highest quality and it's way above what you can get at Joann's. Sorry you don't have that.
